The Home Stretch

How far along- 28 Weeks

How big is the baby- 15 inches  
Total weight gain/loss- 26+lbs
Stretch marks- none

Maternity Clothes- Maternity clothes mixed with a few shirts I have that still manage to fit at this point. 
Favorite moment this week- Keith is finally starting to feel Kash kick. Before it was a "I think I felt it.. Was that him? Was that?" to a freaked out, "Oh my god I felt him!" It's adorable. He gets more excited everyday. 
Miss Anything- Energy. Now that I'm in the third trimester a 2:00pm nap sounds amazing everyday. I also can't maneuver like I use to. Turning over in bed is like a 5  shift process. This belly is getting heavy. 
Movement: A lot. It seems like he gets curled up now on one side of my belly sometimes. Usually when I wake up, makes me wonder if I'm squishing him. 
Food cravings-  I'm still stuck on anything sour... I may or may not have eaten a whole bag of sour patch kids last night. 
Anything making you queasy or sick- Not really. 
Have you started to show yet- Oh ya. It's the topic of every conversation, especially at work. It went from a pudgy "Has she gained weight?" To a full blown soccer ball belly.  It's perfectly round. 
Gender- Sweet Boy

What I'm looking forward to- Invitations went out for the baby shower March 2nd. I'm ready to head to Target and Kangaroo pouch this week to register :) 

Belly Button in or out: Amazingly still in but my belly has become almost unrecognizable to myself. 

Beginning the Nursery..

    With less than 3 months to go until we meet our little Captain we finally started in on his nursery. We love the idea of a nautical theme for him, especially since he's going to grow up at the beach. The rocking chair is my favorite so far, it is so comfy and has the perfect side pockets for books, bottles, and whatever other random things we may need. We are looking to get a ship wheel for the wall and a big rug to fill the room. The fish net we found at Home Goods for above the crib. Keith had an awesome idea, we are going to hang the net and spell "Kash" in some wood letters we found at Michaels. We have a small bag of seashells we will hang along with the letters. We have a lot more to do but this seems like a great start so far. I can't wait to start making memories in this room. 

We finally moved into our new home! The pictures look different because we are in Kashs Nursery now :)

Maternity Clothes-I had to order a few more things. I apparently didn't take into consideration my weight gain when I first bought everything. I'm also looking pretty hot flipping my yoga pants fold over up onto my belly!
Favorite moment this week- Working on Kashs nursery has been fun. Makes it all feel so real. 
Miss Anything- A nice HOT bath. 
Movement: A lot, he gets stronger everyday. Sometimes I have to wiggle around and change his position when he's punching my organs. Ouch! 
Food cravings-  Sour Patch Kids.. My mouth waters just thinking about them. 
Anything making you queasy or sick- Indigestion. After everything I eat.. Once this is over I'm not sure ill never eat a Tums again. 
Have you started to show yet- Yes, I'm starting to feel huge!
Gender- Boy, Kash Bradley Layton. 

What I'm looking forward to- Finishing the nursery of course! The furniture is in. Time to decorate. The crib comes last.
